Today after Seeeker night of adventure and suspense i slept late. Dreaming weird dreams as dreams should be.Strangely enough these days even though i sleep for a little while. My dreams lasted for days sometimes weeks in the sense that the dream was rather long. I remember everything in the dream as clearly as i remember my day to day activities.The dreams were as vivid as real life and the world in the dream was believable too. It was no fairy tale land with fairy's and evil Dark lords.No great heros or peoplee with highly positive moral

Well i thought the dragon ball movie that is coming out will be the worst movie ever made but i might be wrong only time will tell.Today i saw a movie called "The King Maker".
Think the name is lame. Then the movie will exceed the names level of lameness.
It starts of with a lame plot and ends with such a predictable ending that even old hindi movies would have to be called good to say theis movie is ok is like saying terrorism is good.Well if you got 3 hours to spare boredom is much better than watching this movie.The actors are fat from actors as far as the alpha century is from the earth. The acting directing and camera angles were so lame.Emotions were more like Motions without the E.
And action was like two monkeys playing around with a stick.

So the king maker gets 5 stones
for the worst movie i have seen.

(P.S it even beats the jacky chan 3d movie akhil.It beats the day the earth stood still all the way)

Well i beat all the games released this season.
In the action adventure front i liked prince of persia and tomb raider underworld

Because both had an interesting story to tell.

Prince started and ended with a dead princess coming alive for a price.The ending was
quite saddening as u undo all the hard work u did for the past day finishing the game locking up the evil god to save Erika.Even though the story of prince of Persia can be said to be an emotional gimic (example when it starts the prince comes calling Farah and it turns out to be his donkey. Farah was his love interest in sands of time and in the sequels after it).But in away it puts a solid foundation for another trillogy.

I would have preferd if they would let me leave with my donkey and let her rest in peace in the end. but well u bring her back to life and the same line that is said at the start of the game is said when they show u walking of carrying the princess as she cry's.

The wind is free, but the sand goes where it is blown.

Unaware of the world around it, whirling on the breath of the Gods, at the mercy of the storm that engulfs it.

What is one grain of sand in the desert?

it ends the game in a cliffhanger .

While tomb raider world ends the trilogy and her quest to find her mother in Avalon. Which also ends in a grim way with Alister dead and her mom as a zombie.

Both the game had a same theme that the past cannot be changed.

and both the games had amazing concept arts

The prince of persia will be having a movie release next year.

How to destroy a good anime.

How can a good anime be destroyd. Make a live action movie of it.
I just saw the trailer of the dragonball movie and the cast is realy bad.
chow young fat as Roshi. An American kid as goku (lol hilarious why do americans want themselves as the hero in a martial arts movie is something i dont understand but hated in forbidden kingdom. Americans are always better of shooting with guns and bombs in movies like Sly Stellon and Arnold).A Chinese mix as Chi Chi.And the only good looking thing in the whole movie is evil piccolo.

I am shure its going to be the biggest flop in the history of movies.

But the dragon ball origins game is simply amazing to play.

But the new star trek trailer looks amazing they have added depth to the original characters and did not change much . But with better graphics and good story. the new star trek if it is anything like the trailer will be amazing

and the zelda movie that is something else (an april fools joke by ign)

and the batman movie will be amaazing too.
but with a huge line of crap movies like he man ,GI-JOE and power rangers be shure to have a good laugh next year :_)

The halo and unreal series toppled in my top 10 game list by?

I loved the atmosphere and music in the halo and unreal , halflife series and myst.When i first played unreal
i was awstruck by the scenary and the music and the story of unreal. Same goes for halo.Few other games have been abkle to do that. like tomb raider, Mafia,syberia and monkey island .
Very few games have been able to make me love the charecters and the story and this game really pulled it off.
It is not as popular as the once above has cought my attention and has become my fav game series.

The longest journey series which consits of
The longest journey 2000
and
then Dreamfall 2006

i played Dreamfall first and loved it. so i got the longest journey recently and played it. And i must say i like it more than dreamfall. the charecters the script the story will keep u on ur toes if u like puzle and roleplaying games.
Its a must play if u like games like those.

Dreamfall leaves a lot of loose ends .
And thankfully it will be filled up in dreamfall chapters.Funcom got funded by the gvt to complete the game in Norveigh.
And as the halo 3 trailer left me hanging with finish the fight
I think dreamfall chapters will also do that. Hopefully it will get released faster than the time gap bw tlj and dreamfall.

Most of my office work cant be shown around . And idnt get enough time to play around and make things so here are a few things i made in my free time . my new style of drawing . and each picture has its own meaning as well.. Well i am not a 2d artist but in my spare time. i like to draw as well. so these are some of the products of that free time.I have not posted anything lately.But will be posting once in a while now.I have been reading a lot of philosophical books and ancient myths. mac osx 10 and New Game Engine - Carmack's latest creation

John Carmack Reveals New Game Engine - Carmack's latest creation, dubbed id Tech 5, will power the next generation of id Software games.According to what i understood from his geeky giberish.It uses mega texture technology and the map that was shown had 20 gigs of texture and ran smoothly.He
also mentioned that users would be able to modify the environment without changing the game for instance by carving their name into a rock and changing textures easily which would help developers to make the game then graphic designers could jump in and add the details as they so pleased.

I guess its going to run on the new open gl developed by nvedia. which will be a mjaor blow to the microsofts direct x 10 nextgen campaign. As this would be able to run similar graphics in direct x 9 cards and in windows xp.

The engine is demonstrated on the keynote adress of the release of mac osx leopard by Apple CEO Steve Jobs

After hours of head scratching,nail bitting and screaming.I came about with a shader that works well on flat surfaces.Due to the criticism's from my greatest critic (my big brother). I kept on trying without giving up and stuck to the idea of making a chrome like metal for a flat surface.The problem with chrome is that they look great on rounded surfaces like alloy wheels and stuff.After many hours of my brother watching and laughing at my vain attempts to replicate chrome on a flat surface.He dozed off to sleep. finally after painting a reflection map in photoshop and 2 other maps. I got the effect i wanted and got a thumps up from my critic.

Well i always keep looking at the sky.Because wherever you are thats the one thing that is always there,and always beautiful .The clouds form different shapes sometimes a ship sometimes a bird.And the sun lights it up with dynamic lighting creating surreal beauty high above our heads. It is like the painting canvas of the gods.So i cant stay away from taking snaps of it whenever i can.

Learning to Draw.

Well many people would like to learn to draw.I have seen many who try and give up after a bit.And a few like me who keep drawing whatever it is.Its just the fun of drawing.What is fun for you is something you can master (joseph 1:1).Well now i am not going to sit around and ramble about drawing. The main thing is there are different types of drawings portraits, caricatures ,stick figure drawing and on and on. What i did is i developed my own style of drawing.It is best that you make a style of you own that you are comfortable with.But you have to keep in mind the basics and take advices from others to add to your technique .

I would say the best way to start drawing is to try to draw straight lines and horizontal line and circles with one stroke.keep at it for many days and u will become quite good at it.(p.s what i do is when i draw and it turns out to be horrible. I Draw circles and lines over it covering the whole picture.ITs good practice and less waste of paper)

After you have mastered lines and circles. go for curvy lines like the waves and then 3d shapes like cubes cylinders and pyramids.

After this you can head to learning the basics of drawing a biped (two leg ed thingi like us)
and that is explained excellently in this site.Go through these tutorials carefully then u will i assure you that you will not regret it.

Well for the last few months i was going here and there and doing a lot of things.So i didnt get time to blog.Well i was trying to find my way around secondlife.Scriptting , prims but no polys, frequent crashes, and a lot of people asking how can i make money insecond life.Well Second life is not abt money its a game where nothing is beyond your reach as you can make almost anything and be anything you want to be.Within a month of second life ican say that i can script and prim model considerably well.As well as design my own flexi cloths.Its great but if you want to make money in second life you have to have a registerd acount and to do that you need a credit card or a pay pall account.Anyway i am having fun in it trying to make a Jutsu or a kamehameha!

Well long time ago.when we did not have cable.we used to watch doordarshan. I still remeber the shows.Now we have more than 100 channels with a large amount of junk programs.And stuff called reality tv.Well i used to enjoy Monk in star world and they stoped it to replace it with Desire table for 3 which is horrible.The programs i enjoy now are the old stuff like friends chears etc.The star trek enterprise that which is shown in star world is worse than a soap opera.The old star treks were my favourits .star trek and tng.Thinkng back further to those door darshan days. there where great programs street hawk, knight rider and He-man and they used to show a phantom called pantom 2020. or something like that to name a fewAmong indian programs there was the great byomkash bakshi,malgudi days and zaban samalkay.And there was a program called osheen abt a chinese girls life those where great programs when i thik about it now.Those where the days when tv was fun.Now its the youtube erra! sigh.

but for sherlok holms fans History channel is showing some of the sherlock holmes movies on tuesday at 9:00 all of december so dont miss it.

s been one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood, but it's now official... J.J. Abrams is indeed the director for the next Star Trek incarnation. Movieweb has this:

Viacom CEO Philippe Dauman said earlier this week that J.J. Abrams (Lost) will be directing Star Trek XI.

"We're revitalizing it in a new and interesting way," he said.

The studio plans to bring the film to theaters in 2008 or 2009. Lost creative team, Damon Lindelof and Bryan Burk are teaming with Abrams to write the project.

Well my mom needed a small pic of jesus for an article so i drew this.I used photoshop and it took me less than an hour to draw it.I was using my mouse as the ipen is out of juice and it dosent work in photosop.

After i gave it to her.I thought why not give in more details.Then i kept on doing this and that .and it ended up like this.I will be doing more and more details untill i am happy with it.
I might also draw a bg and his body.But first the head then the rest.

I dont always get to use the pc.So in my spare time i am writting a story
here is a sneek preview.the summary of the story is like this
The basic story is about a professor who lives with his adopted son.He is still sad about his wifes death and he is working on a machine that will put him in a semideath state so as to find whats after death.And his hope to meet his wife there.Its about his adventures in the worlds he goes to in this state.

I am thinking of drawing concept arts of the places in the story too. So its going to be lots of fun:-)

The new nfs carbon looks absolutely amazing.And its like nfs underground and mostwanted combined and the coolest part in the game is the car coustomiser which actualy has a modeling like feal from what i saw from the video.like u can scale tyre rims and push and pull some parts out of the alloys absolutly AMAZING!.This new form of editingis called Autosculpt.I better concentrate on programing a bit more from now on lol :-)

I have just watched an episode from a new anime called ergo proxy .the storyline is engulfed in mystery and not much has been revealed in the first episode.This series uses 2d and 3d to give scenes like this image to us.The theme song is sung by motorhead.We dont know how many episodes will be released but till now only 7 have been released.The story is set in a world where humans and androids live with one another.The story revolves aroung many charecters but mainly around lil mayers and a experimental thingcalled proxy thats running loose in the town.Nothing more is reveald in the first episode but it sems intresting and the art style is dark but looks nice.

narutos fillers suck as this week there was a 3 episode marrathon which i hope is the end of the fillers.the bleach fillers have reached high gear mode lots of action and exitement .

This is an anime i didnt expectit to be any difrent than the usual ones.but it turns out to have depth like Fma.Basicly this anime is about girl named Youko Nakajima from Japan, who is suddenly transported to another world and eventually discovers that she is the queen of the kingdom of Kei.
Acoording to wikkipedia it is called a political thriller.But i think its a story about a girl discovering herself.All the other stuff added is just a shuger coating.As a wise man once said the greatest adventure is within yourself.

The Twelve Kingdoms also known in Japan as Juuni Kokki, 12 Kokki, and Record of 12 countries, is a 45-episode anime series produced by Studio Pierrot in 2002 and adapted from a series of eleven novels and a short story collection by Fuyumi Ono. Naruto <=Was awsome till episode 20 and then it was ok till 120 now the fillers suck big time!
DB <= I like this one to

DBGT <=I dont like this one but it is the end to a great series
Flame of Recca<=Great series just 42 episodes and lots of action *some nudity too
Samurai 7<= Great anime each episode costed 300000 $ just 27 episodes or so

EL Hazard<=Great funny and most things have double meanings ;-)

The project is almost over just one more scene to render and work in combustion.
Watched a lot of great anime.Including the oscar winner Spirited Away.The artwork in these anime are awsome.I also saw another anime movie called grave of the fireflys which is quite sad.but shoes the reality of war.Anyway i like many anime movies now.teh yseem to be more entertaining the the current hollywood releases.Am stil watching bleech and naruto even though the fillers are going on.But otherwise i watch rurouni kenshin.which is quite nice too.Any way most of the time i will be rendering these days.But after watching all these anime i still think FMA is one of the best anime series ever made.Here is a screen shot showing the progress of my project

Long time no Blog

since iwas busy in the work of the project. i iddnt get time to blog.Work is going on well.And i got to finish it off by next week.Well the work is over.Now only rendering is left .Which takes quite a long time.Each frame takes 10 min.For exaple if u render 100 frames.That is abt 1000 min and 100 frames is just 3 secs of video.So it will be quite a hard process.Anyway i am doing quite well.But not as well as i would like the end product to be.But quite well.The worst problem is the relentless power faileours which makes me do many things over and over again.
I wish i was a director and had unlimited resources lol.
Anyway here is a pic from the work in progress.
I recently saw a program about the death and rebirth of somepeople.Like one person died and at the same day and time a kid was born somewere else in the world. Who has the memories of the person who died.It is absolutely strange.If this is true then life is just a process of death rebirth death rebirth.It isnt much difrent than a mmorpg lol.But when i thought about it .I got an idea for asuperb novel.which i am writing now.As i dont have anything else to do because the pc is used for rendering.

For the past few days (2days).Project has been stoped as i was doingresearch on how to make the environment that i imagined.The various barrierson the way for making the environment were.

AFTER the camera zooms in to the paper.the paper will be shown in the full screen and the date will be 1945 then the date will change to 2009. and the paper will be lying on a salt deset with one road till the eye can see the video changes to color.A new car will pass at great speeds near the paper and it will fly away. then the car is shown in diffident angles and styles.Thats it end of the video.that's all i can do in the available time after work.

I am proud to show you the first few seconds of my project evolution. i have been rendering it for a long time today.will try to complete the whole thing asap.Dont ask any questions now:-).After you see the video.Mostly you might guess what i am going to show from the title of the movie.Anyway watch and enjoy.IF you have the full song of the song which i put as bg sound in the movie please mail me.In the first few secs i am trying to show an old video like look.And showing a car like one of the first spors cars.I designed the car myself.The video quality will improve slowly as the seconds progress and so will the era.The old car will change to the new sports car i made.As it races through a baren desert.And the song will also change accordingly :-)

Full Metal Anime is a must see for anime lovers if you would like to see something serious and with a good story line. Watch full Metal alchemist.It is a gem among animes as it has a well built storyline where most of the charecters are important.The story is mostly about Ed and al who are brothers.And both of them are quite good in alchemy.It is an amazing story with lots of ups and downs and movements that will even make a grown man cry.There are just 51 episodes and a movie in which the author conveys the whole story.The manga is still going on in japan.But the anime has ended for good.That is what the author says.But after you watch it you will want to see more.The movie is the continuation of episode 51 and is not a filler.The movie was released in japan in 2005 and the english movie will be released in usa towards 2006 end.The japanese version won many awards and is said to be te best anime ever made.

Well today i unwraped some of the stuff in the scene.It takes too much time.So i am going to texture without unwrapping to the rest of the scene.Anyway here is progress till now.I will try to texture and finish it of today itself if can.I could make it look much better but with the limited resorces and time.anyway i tried the DOF effect with the camera.Thats why you will notice that things far away are less clearer than the things which are near by.

I did quite a bit today.But i am not feeling well so i am thinking of taking a np for a few hours.Anyway here is the progress.the symbol of jet designs factory has to be fit to the wall with some metal rods and frames and dustbins and other stuff have to be placed on the road.Inded it seems it will take a lot of work to make it look good.Anyway here is the progress.Got abit of a wet look on the road.Will make puddels after i am done with the modelling.Well did all that and updated the image

Today is saturday and tommorow is sunday. i dont work in these 2 days
saw pirates of the caribbean 2 was a great movie but sadly i have to wait for the 3rd part to come out.I dont know why people are making trillogys for everything.Matrix ,Lotr,The longest journey and now pirates of the caribbean.Halflife si the worst case of it.It has a trilogy in each part of the trillogy except for one.as it goes like this half life 1, half life 2, half life 2 episode 1 to 3
This is a good way to make money.Now halo also has 3 parts and halo 3 that is coming out is the last part of it.

Was working on the car.Cleard up the line flow and did some updates .Here is the images.Most of you wwont see the updates.they are in places hard to see for example.the disc breaks and the wipers.

The games i am waiting for now are

1)Test Drive Unlimited= The next gen game of the test drive series which boasts of the whole of hawaie for you to explore and race.The pictures they have released are absolutely amazing.LOOK AT THAT CAR IS IT REAL!!!

2)Halflife 2 episode 2 = Played episode 1 it was great with a continueng story.So cant wait to play half life 2 episode 2.

3) Clive Barkers Barker's Jericho= I had never heard of a game called Clive Barkers undieng.My friend showed it to me and i loved it.It was a horror game with a great story.Now comes another of clive barkers games based on his novels i guess.The image is outright freeky.

Ialways loved the songs of old nintendo games like conta and mario.Now i like the songs in anime series and movies.One of my favourit group is Toshiro Masuda who did the instrumentals in naruto. they are great.
Orange range is the group that sang the first intro of Bleach.I guess that was the best intro song for bleach.And was the number 1 selling song of an anime series last year.
Orange range is big in japan and they have fans from abroad also.They also sang some of the intros from naruto.They are equalent to the backstreet boys of japan.But they are still boys and are very young.I guess orange is a colorloved by japanese.Or maybe it signifies something.

Well i started working on my final 3d project at home.It will be very challenging.I plant to make 2 cars race. along one end of a tunnel to the other end.And i want to make it as realistic as posible
This will involve 6 steps and i hope to complete it by 20th of next month r before that if i can.

1. Modeling the car -the car is a concept car and both the cars will be the same model.except that one will be with its roof open and another without its roof closed.I dont plan to mae a driver.but if iget a lot of extra time i will think about it.

2.Texturing the car

3.Modeling the location

4.Texturing the location

5.applieng realistic lighting

6.Animating the race and cameras.

Finaly rendering.which is the worst part of it all as it will take a lot of time.
Anyway started work on the car today and am going ahead in full steam
work till now is the pic i uploaded. i didnt weld the roof yet so ull see a crack like thing there.But dont wory it wont be there when its done :-).

Well most of the dreams i have have quite amazing storys.Even though i forget most of them.Recently the story i was writing was also a dream i had.So i will be writing the second chapter of it soon .As yesterday the story continued and i woke up just when something intresting was happening.When i woke up.I rememberd one of the charecters in it and drew it with my digitizer in MS paint.I cant seem to get photoshop to work properly.So here is the rough sketch.It was a robot like creature quite strange looking.I remember clearly that i did not fear it when it approached me.It used its leg and hands to move on treetops at high speedReminded me of a monkey.

As the fillers where going on and on in Naruto I thought of watching a movie...
"Remember, Remember, the 5th of November...
This is another amazing movie by the Wachowski brothers .It shows as the thin line between a terrorist and a hero.But the story is told in such an amazing way that it kept me mesmorized.The fact is that heros and terrorists are written into the history books according to the result of the war.Those on the winning side become heros while.Those on the loosing side become terrorists.V was a comic book which was printed long ago.I am glad i so this movie as i liked it very much.V was acted by the guy who played mr Smith in the matrix.But hsi face is never shown in the movie .and there was Natalie Portman who acted very well in this movie

Half life always ends with a blast

I played half life 2 episode 1.It was better than halflife 2.But it also ended with a bang like half life 2.leaving lots of questions to be answerd.The teaser trailer of halflife 2 episode 2 is shown after that.It shows lots of scenic places and lots of freaky alians.It also shows what might be the deat of alex(Alex is the girl in halflife2.she follows and helps u around throughout halflife 2.1.which will show that they have increased a bit of a.i and personality of charecters.)Any way dreamfall and halflife 2.1 ends in suspence as if the people are about to die.Anyway halflife 2.2 will be released in december.Cant wait to play it.The use of HDR in halflife 2.1 was amazing.The only sad thing about 2.1 was that it was too short.

Yesterday windows crashed and i had to reinstall all the applications.
anyway i have done quite a bit of work on kakashi.here it is.what i am planning to do is.to darw a bg for kakashi and scroll the bg in such a way as if it looks like it is panning.Anyway today is saturday and tommorow is sunday.These are the two days when i dont do much work.I saw Krish (a hindi movie ,"i never see them .but saw this as my friend got free tickets")
The graphics was much above the shaktiman level.But nothing compared to english movies.In short it was S.H.I.T (Smallest Hit in Town).Any way i will be continuing the discussion about japanese on monday.Will be reading some stuff about it today and tommorow.

Todays topic is VERBS. i guess this is a verb..Anyway lets start.

1)Aru(there is one) and Kuru(they are coming)
Japanese verbs are conjugated
and there are 5 of them.Most of which i am in the process of learning
one of it is RENTAIKEI .You can understand that it is a rentaikei as it uses the column "u" of the Hiragana or which is called by the japanese as gojuon-zu(Hmm dont get yout head fumed up or anything "Hiragana and gojoun-zu" is the japanese alpahbets.it is similar to the hindi and malayalam alphabets,but different

They are two words because

Iru is used for living things and Aru for non living things.
But you cannot just say that non living things cant be called Iru because.In japenese ,things that is capable motion are also called Iru.

that if u are a guy and u say. my name is Uzumaki Naruto = Namae wa Uzumaki Naruto desu.
if u are a girl then it will come as err if the girls name is hinata(as in naruto :-) it will be Watashi no namae wa Hinatha desu.
And there is something likeoldjapanese and new japanese. like in old englishyou would say for are you coming.Are thee coming .
(One thing i dont understand is when naruto talks he always ends with bio in the cartoon series.like hotibio and all.hay nioki why is that?)

Languages are different.The most different language of all languages is English.It will be quite hard for a english man to learn japanese or other languages.As i was watching naruto (a japenese anime). People keep on talking in japanese and sometimes i get lazy and do not read the subtitles.So i sit and try to figure out what they are saying.The main difference between english and japanese is that its totaly diffrent :-).
In japanese the order of the words are differnt from english.And in japanese they do not specify much.A large amount of data is understood by taking in concideration the other factors in the sentence.Even though i dont understand much(err thinking if much would be appropriate.hmmm i guess a little bit willl be more appropriate ) of japanese.i made it a point to learn a bit.

As i was saying before that "A large amount of data is understood by taking in concideration the other factors in the sentence".

I will give u a small example.
Nioki san to no hanashi
in japanese means "The talk which is with Mr Nioki"(You will notice that the order is differnet from )
If i transilate it directly without changing the order it will be like this
"Nioki Mr" "with" "which is" "talk"
This reminded me of the jumbled words test in my old english exams :-)

the "no" charecter is represented by a symbol symillar to the malayalm symbol ra except that it is the exact mirror image.

As i was saying before that "A large amount of data is understood by taking in concideration the other factors in the sentence".
an example of that is

Nioki San no hanashi.
means Mr Niokis story
here the word hanashi which meant talk in the previous example means story now
